The band rehearses every Monday night from 7.30-9pm at the Sumners Centre, Broadley Road, Sumners, Harlow.   All young people between the ages of 9 and 21 are welcome to come and join the band. 

The rehearsals are led by Samuel Dubois, a musician and tutor from the Ebony Steelband in London. Our Steelband has the ability to engage with all young people due to the unique way the music is taught - through sound and memory rather than notation. 

Young people who join our workshop sessions will need no existing musical skills to take part and become musicians.  We learn to play a range of popular chart songs (chosen by the band) as well as reggae and traditional Caribbean songs.
